The Blasi family has been living in Umbertide in the Upper Tiber Valley for generations. At the end of the 1990ies, out of a desire to make known their homeland, rich in traditions, history and culinary delights, the Blasis bought a part of what the local inhabitants have known since ages as “the Bertanzi Counts residence”. The Wine Cellar dates back to 1742. It was restored with conservative and at the same time innovative methods. Today the Wine Cellar is as an example of modernity and history, elegance and practicality, where quality winemaking is almost a moral obligation. With the same commitment, in the following years, the first vineyards were backed up and partly replanted to maintain as intact as possible the cultivar handed down to us over time. Within the beautiful Wine Cellar different tasting tours are available to allow guests to fully appreciate the specific flavors and aromas of our territory.
