“Lombrico Felice” (Happy Earthworm) is an Organic Farm located in Città di Castello. On the farm we grow various types of cereals, vegetables and fruit.
Lombrico Felice is also an “Open Farm”, which means we are open to all visitors who wish to escape from daily routine, get in touch with nature and experience organic farming and sustainable agriculture. Guests can also taste exquisite “crostini” toasts topped with seasonal veggies or with our ancient variety of nutrient-packed beans, hand-rolled pasta made with ancient rare wheat flour and seasoned with farm-grown tomatoes, roasted meats from farm-bred animals (following organic stock raising rules) and for dessert try our homemade pies and the fantastic wildflower honey (“millefiori”) made by Grandpa Gianni’s bees.
Tasting at Lombrico Felice is a true culinary journey among many varieties of legumes and cereals grown in Umbria since ancient times, accompanied by local wine.
